Good afternoon,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Wendy Ayala, and I am the Scholars Program Director at Collegiate Directions, Inc., a college access and success organization that supports primarily first-generation college students to and through college.

We are currently organizing a workshop designed to provide MD and DC students with valuable insights into the college admissions process. The goal of this event is to empower students from underrepresented backgrounds, helping them navigate the admissions process and prepare for a successful college journey.

We would be honored if you or someone from NSBE DC and/or NSBE Baltimore would consider serving as a panelist during this event.

This session is in collaboration with the Abramson Scholarship Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing scholarships to students in DC.

The workshop is scheduled for October 24 at 5:30 – 6:45 pm and will be held via Zoom.

If you are available and willing to participate, we would love to discuss the event further and answer any questions you may have. Your involvement would make a significant impact on our students’ educational journeys.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to support our students in their pursuit of higher education. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best,

Wendy Ayala
