Please consider volunteering virtually or in person (at Howard University) on Saturday, February 26th for the Region II Spring Zone Summit during E-Week. I will summarize the workshops we are seeking professional help on as well as send the volunteer form and event flyer. The volunteer form is to be completed by February 18, 2022 for anyone wishing to participate.
Panels (11:35am-12:15pm):What is NSBE to You- a discussion about the NSBE experience (3-5 volunteers)How to Attend National Convention- a discussion about the national convention experience (3-5 volunteers)NSBE Leadership- a discussion about experiences in NSBE leadership (3-5 volunteers)
Workshops (1:00-1:40pm):How to land jobs that travel for work (1-3 volunteers)Negotiation workshop (1-3 volunteers)Campaigning/Platform building-for upcoming region elections (1-3 volunteers)
During the panels and workshop times we also would like to conduct drop-in sessions where members can go to professionals for resume help, interview help, and to ask for professional advice.

Subject: Spring Zone Summit an E-WeekGood Morning everyone,
Mr. Elliott Locke has informed me that the professionals of Region 2 are working on E-Week activities. From my understanding E-Week is the same week we are planning on having our Spring Zone Summit, February 26. I was wondering if you all would like to advertise volunteering and attending Spring Zone Summit as like a "finisher" to your E-Week activities.
Spring Zone Summit will be February 26, 2022 at Howard University. It will be one zone summit for the entire region and hybrid, so we will be looking for volunteers for in-person and virtual. It will be from 10am-4pm. Currently we are looking at having 3 panels and 3 workshops (so hopefully about 4-5 professionals could volunteer for each one.)
If this sounds like an event you all are interested in then I would like for all of you to join the Membership Zone at our meeting next Wednesday from 9pm-10pm. We can go over our agenda and let you all know how y'all can assist us and also how we can fit into your E-Week plans.
If there are any comments or questions feel free to reach out to me before the meeting date.
