Dear Learner,
You don't have to focus on applets, and programs relating to that do
not have to be practiced.
Questions related to applet will NEVER appear in the assignments or exams.
They are included in the course for students to get a general idea only.
Applets are currently not supported by JDK 8 and above and are
scheduled for removal from the course.
I'd suggest focusing on practicing Java without relying on applets,
as they are no longer supported in many modern browsers due to
security concerns.
Since applets are deprecated and marked for removal, the alternative
is to use JavaFX or Swing for creating GUI applications.
These frameworks are more modern, secure, and versatile for building
user interfaces in Java.
