Dear Sir,

I hope you are doing well. I wanted to suggest skipping Applet Programming from our Java syllabus, as applets have been deprecated since Java 9 and removed in Java 11. Modern browsers no longer support Java plugins, making applets obsolete for real-world applications.

Instead, it would be more beneficial to focus on JavaFX or Swing for GUI applications or explore Spring Boot for web development. This will help us gain skills that are relevant to current industry standards.

Looking forward to your thoughts on this. Thank you for your time!

Best regards,
Shubham Gupta

Dear Learner,

You don't have to focus on applets, and programs relating to that do
not have to be practiced.
Questions related to applet will NEVER appear in the assignments or exams.
They are included in the course for students to get a general idea only.

Applets are currently not supported by JDK 8 and above and are
scheduled for removal from the course.
I'd suggest focusing on practicing Java without relying on applets,
as they are no longer supported in many modern browsers due to
security concerns.

Since applets are deprecated and marked for removal, the alternative
is to use JavaFX or Swing for creating GUI applications.
These frameworks are more modern, secure, and versatile for building
user interfaces in Java.

Best regards.
