Hi Shalini Madam,

Greetings and thank you for sharing your introduction with the Discussion Forum.  We appreciate for your contribution in posing that insightful question. The contents of the MOOC using pedagogical techniques helps to foster student learning and engagement (online and offline) through four elements

      1. Active learning through LeD (Learning Dialogue)-Actively participation of the students while listening to the lecture, watching the video and reading the content followed by reflection spot

     2. Peer learning through LxI (Learner Experience Interaction)- Focused question for peer interaction followed by Reflection Quiz (RQ).

 3.  Peer Learning through LxT (Learner Extension Trajectories)- Providing the resources to the students for discussion followed by Assimilation Quiz (AQ).

 4. Formative assessment using LbD (Learning by Doing) -Effective learning of the students through activities with customized feedback.

Detailed discussions on the design aspects of the above four elements will be covered in the upcoming weeks. Your active engagement enhances the depth of our discussions, and we truly value your thoughtful participation.

Happy Learning!

Regards

Dr. Siddu Jigajinni
