Dear Sir,
In Assignment No. 10, to calculate tail Volume ratio you considered tail arm as the distance between C.G. of aircraft and aerodynamic center of tail as far the the expression is concerned.
The location of C.G of aircraft is a variable, hence it should be either given in the data of the question, or you should have mentioned that the C.G location pertaining to Q.No.4 can be considered to calculate Tail Volume ratio. Some other students also raised their clarifications regarding the same, hence I expect a clear explanation from you sir.
Also the wing and tail are rectangular in shape as per the question, then what happens to Oswald's efficiency factor 'e'? To calculate downwash variation with angle of attack, you haven't considered 'e' in the expression. The value of 'e' is 1 for elliptic planform only. But for the aircraft given in the assignment, it should be less than 1, and has to be calculated from empirical relation as a function of AR of wing.
I am loosing assignment marks because of these mistakes in the given data as all are numerical answer type questions.
Thank You
