In lecture 27, at 13:44 the lift-off distance is mentioned to be inversely proportional to the air density. However, the solution in assignment 7 for question 2 mentions the distance to be inversely proportional to the square of air density. Which is correct?

Dear Candidate,
The take off distance, (Sto) is inversely proportional to both thrust and air density. Further the Thrust is directly proportional to air density. Therefore, Sto will be inversely proportional to square of the air density.
