Can you explain how to get the answers for question no: 4 and 5 in Assignment 6.

Dear Students:

In question number 4, you have to calculate the spin only magnetic moment value for all the four electronic configuration by using the formula

√n(n+2), where n is the number of unpaired electrons.

In question number 5, first find out the metal oxidation state in the particular complex then find out the electronic configuration. After that you have to calculate the magnetic moment by using the same above formula.
