Dear All

I am Dr.V.Srinivasa Kumar, Associate Professor, School of Management, SASTRA Deemed University.  I am on to teaching and research in the areas like finance, entrepreneurship, macroeconomics.  I am in the verge of completing three decades of teaching experience in various institutions of reputation.   I am really moved with the teaching technology and I am happy to converge myself to the technology based teaching.  I attended the FDP101x -Foundation Program on ICT for education and FDP201x Pedagogy for online and blended Teaching Learning course of IITB and completed with high score.

The course really helped me to change my methodology of teaching.  I have started to structuring my classroom sessions, in terms of LeD, LxI, LxT and as recommended in the course I deep dived into the Screencast-o-matic software and I made 15 - 20 lesson videos for the benefit of my students.  I am able to understand the methodology of teaching from teachers perspective to the learners perspective, though the matter remains the same, it is going to be the presentation and structuring of our communication.  Kudos to the team LCM for engaging us with new initiatives to enhance our perception of Teaching Learning process. Few of my lesson videos made through licence version of Screencast-o-matic:

Dear Sir,
Happy to see that the elements of LCM which have been taught in the course, are being implemented by you in practice. Also, as you pointed out, it helped you restructure your teaching methodology! Thank you for sharing your valuable experience.
Regards,
Pawan,
DFM.

Dr.V.Srinivasa Kumar Congratulations for thinking out of the box and taking the LCM learning into classroom scenario. You have presented a wonderful approach in teaching-learning by involving reflection spots, focus questions, LxTs into regular classes. This will look awesome throguh the lenses of students. they will become more involved and feel pleased to see the difference in the quality of pedagogic experiences. Students will become habitual to go beyond typical content and learn through additional resources. They will become self-motivated to learn, collaborate, inquire, answer. This will provoke their higher order thinking skills.
