Dear Learners,

I hope you all are fine and taking necessary precautions in the lock down period to ensure the safety of all.

While the SWAYAM NPTEL LCM MOOC proctored exam is postponed, I think we can utilize this valuable time. I propose the utilization of this time to plan our own MOOCs in the light of Learner Centric Approach that we learnt through this MOOC. Let us all begin the new phase of discussions regarding planning for our own MOOCs. I am sure this will lead to sharing of innovative ideas for MOOC creation.

Dear Sir,
I had great teaching experience during this lockdown period and I give all credit to the organising committee of this course. The day lockdown was declared, I planned to create LeDs, post LxT that provides reading material to the students, not much but taken few RQ and assignment. All includes elements of student centric that I learned from this course through LMS using Google Classroom platform. Tried to have open interaction with students through posting comments.

Though still I feel that the planning is done of different elements but how to have a MOOC platform? I miss an online platform to start MOOC at individual level by a teacher and register students for learning  as LCM course used the platform of swayam.

Dear Shreya pathak,
Congratulations.
Yes, It became so relavant and of immediate use, all that we have learnt in the course. Since the exam is postponed and the class room teaching is not possible, we are able to have practical hands on experience about all the content we learnt in the course. I had created some LeDs and LbD and also created a google group for discussion for my students. I'm Posting some focus questions to orchestrate the discussion. few students are using the platform for discussion. I'm trying to encourage them to participate in duscussions. In fact last night I had a live session on You tube and have explained students regarding the steps of online learning. 50 out of 95 students from my class attended the live session. It was a great experience. I intend to create a MOOC content for medical students in my subject of Human anatomy.
