Dear All
I wish to share my experience of learning through MOOCs.
I have learned a lot from the online course, Physics of Semiconductors taught by Prof. H.C. Verma from IIT Kanpur.
Though the course was designed for 12 weeks, the content was taught in an amazing way by Prof Verma.

Course was indeed learner centric as the teaching was good with excellent explanation.
The assessment was very interesting as the MCQ questions were demanding your complete understanding of the subject.

I always keep that course as my benchmark for designing a content for a MOOC.
Next to that course, the present course is a one which I am really enjoying. In short, I am experiencing a Happy Learning.

Thanks to the instructors for creating a meaning time to everyone, in particular the teachers who are aspiring to design MOOC course like me.

Great to hear this. Do you think that we need to improve upon some specific aspects in this course?

Its a good time of learning in the past three weeks.
I would like to suggest the following for the betterment of the this course.
1. Though focus question is designed to streamline the discussion forum, many an occasion, discussion has take us to nowhere.
If it is worthwhile on any topic of discussion, instructor team can come into the picture so as to summarize what has been discussed in the thread and can formally conclude the topic.
2. As we are dealing with many quizzes (AQ, KQ, RQ) with due dates in every week, it is better to display the details like due dates, whether the quiz is attempted and whether participated in the discussion forum etc.in the progress of the learner.

Thanks for creating "connection" with me.

Thank You for the feedback. We will keep this in mind for our next offering. Some of the functionalities are platform related, so we will have to consult the portal team for this.

And yes, we explicitly try to reach out and connect to most of the learners one way or the other. :-)
