Hello Peers,
Based on my experiences, I found reflection spots are much useful for learners. It gives a pause in chunking the concepts and provides opportunity to recall the concepts which strengthens the learning. The only thing is the learner should be really motivated in learning the course. Otherwise, they may ignore these reflection spots and proceed with the LeDs just like a content videos.

The learner acquire the following benefits:
1. Able to reflect on their understanding
2. Able to correct themselves if they are wrong direction of understanding
3. No accumulation of doubts.
4. Recalling leads to strong learning

I do agree that reflection spots provide the necessary motivation in learning the course
