I have completed the MOOC course Strategy and the sustainable enterprise offered by IIMB which is not so Learner centric and now i have completed week 1 in this course. When I compare these two courses,in my opinion,  learner centric MOOC is the way in which all moocs should be done. It give an opportunity for the learners to learn in their style and also to ensure that the course is not monotonous. I think all the instructors of classroom courses should also intentionally include reflection spots in their course of teaching to ensure better learning experience for their students.

Yes, I completely agree with you Geeth. Actually this is my first MOOC. But it is really learner centric. Especially in the first week itself the first most important characteristic we have come across is 'Reflection Spots'. Reflection Spots really make learners stop and think which leads to a better and deeper understanding of the subject which in turn makes the MOOC leaner centric.

Yes indeed. Reflection spots should become the part n parcel of classroom interactions where the learners will reflect and respond to the questions raised on the prior learning. This will promote active involvement of the learners. It will also promote higher order thinking i the learning process.
