Good feedback should be constructive and specific. That is, instead of just informing the learner that the answer is correct or incorrect, the feedback should provide an explanation of how a student can approach various concerns raised or how can they reach the right answer, in case they have chosen a wrong answer. At the same time, the feedback should be customized according to the learner type which according to me is slightly hard to achieve in MOOC setting where there is large diversity of learners. But, as mentioned in LeDs 3.3.1 and 3.3.2, it is recommended that-
For activities that requires learners to answer Multiple Choice Questions-
Along with whether the answer is correct or incorrect, also provide targeted feedback/ explanation with all the answer options of the question that can help a learner reach the correct answer in case the wrong answer is chosen.
For questions with descriptive answers or when answers involve multiple steps-
Use descriptive performance rubrics which can be self or peer reviewed.
I am sure you must have seen several examples of these feedback techniques in this course
