When a person having a sweet tooth was advised by his doctor against the consumption of sweets, would he still get the same amount of dopamine released when he eats a sweet or will there be a dopamine relese when he avoids swwet as now, he is doing whats best for him

Dear Learner,
Studies show that dopamine release is more when one engages into activity of their interest. For e.g., even when you know that doing the clerical work related to filing your tax is best for you to avoid complication, it does not interest you. Therefore, there is no dopamine rush involved with that activity.
