Is assignment score best of 8 or all 12

In the first announcement, the assignment score is told to be calculated with the best 8 of 12 assignments. But in the later announcements, nothing of such sort is mentioned. 

Could you please clarify this.

Yes, the total assignment score will be calculated by considering the best 8 out of the 12 assignments. (i.e average of best 8 scores)

You can check this in "About the Course" tab.
