Hello Raja,

YES, Climbing fiber input is DIRECT & STRONG

The climbing fiber originates from the Inferior Olivary Nucleus (a structure found in the Medulla Oblongata) and provides Strong excitation to the Purkinje cells in the form of Complex Spikes. Since cerebellum is receiving input from the Inferior Olivary Nucleus directly through the climbing fiber, this input can be considered as Direct. This climbing fiber input plays a crucial role in functioning of Cerebellum.
