Why 50 marks exams only?

Sir,
As per the course design and structure the final assessment was 30/70 ratio but today, final exam was only for 50 Marks-
1. Section I-21 questions of 2marks
2. Section II-3 questions of 2+2+4 marks
Total section I& II= 42+8=50 Mark's
Why?

Dear Madam,

I think they would be scaling 50 Marks on to 100.

So here we needed atleast 20 Marks to pass. Which would be further scaled.

Hi,

Two clarifications:
1. We are always talking about % weight of online and exam. i.e. the absolute marks do not get converted as it is.
2. The ratio is 25% for online assessment and 75% for proctored exam.

This is a 1 credit course aimed at sensitization of faculty towards Learner-Centric approaches in Online setting. Based on our last semester experience, we felt that doing a 100 mark paper for 3 hours will be too much of a stretch. In fact we are pretty sure that most of you would have completed the exams in an hour.

Hence a 50 mark paper.
