About the session- Innovation and patent filing is generally considered as a very rare activity having lots of perceptions about the invitation viz can only happen in highly equipped laboratories or needs extraordinary infrastructure which is not true all the time. Innovation requires a certain mindset and a certain attitude. Realization that innovation is something that can be applied in my day-to-day activity that will drive to help make a difference. In this talk we'll flash the insights on how to set the mindset to think beyond the obvious and more importantly the realization of the new discovery for claiming them as a formal disclosure.
Speaker Profile: Dr. Kushal Patel is Working as test lead in IBM systems for Ethernet Storage and responsible for functional testing of Ethernet protocols for SpecV systems. Dr. Kushal is part of SpecV team since past 8 years.He owns a PhD in Cloud storage and Disaster recovery management and serving as an active IBM Master Inventor having 130+ patents. He is author of 70+ papers which includes research publications, product whitepapers and conference/journal papers and 1 IBM Redbooks.
