sir ,
you have considered a 2-d transient diffusion problem in which we arrived to the value of G=(.5 OFthe reciprocal of sum of space grid size ) we had calculated in similar fashion as that of the 1-d problem and if we go through the eqation we would get (-1+4alphaxsin(square)..)+(-1+4alpha....)<1 so we are arrive at different stability condition other than the expressed in lecture its bit differnt value ,
