Dear Team,

Can anyone please explain why option 1 is incorrect for Question 7? In other words why is 37.5 not the median or the 50th percentile of the dateset?

Thanks

Min - 5
Q1- 25
Q3- 50
Max- 55

I know that we need to arrange in ascending order.  Where am I missing the point?

Thanking You

Whenever we deal with IQR  or we have to find percentile then always first we have to arrange it in ascending order......... This is rule....

Hi,
Median or 50th percentile will lie between Q1 and Q3 (Can be equal too) but need not be equal to the exact midpoint of Q1 and Q3.
