in this ques x value is 55, y =50 and z is 40 then after arraingng in increasing order the meidan should be the value at 125th pos as total frequency is 250 and after arranging in increasing order value 1 with frequency 55 is coming at 125 position then shouldnt ans for median be 1 ,how is it 4?

Hi,
You need not arrange data in the increasing order of frequencies. Arrange the data values in its own order that is 1 then 2 then 3 and so on. Now check which comes at 125th and 126th position. It is 4 only.
