Pin code does not hold numeric properties that is addition and subtraction does not make any sense here, that's why it is not a numerical variable.

Q6)

By using addition, you can never achieve absolute zero and therefore that will come in ratio scale. A proper answer is given in FAQ.

Q10)

Common difference between categorical and numerical variable is that numerical variable holds numeric properties such that differences between consecutive data points make sense in numerical variables while categorical variables are just labels or names where arithmetic operations do not make any sense.

Q12)

Variable with interval scale of measurement does not have absolute zero that's why ratio does not make sense in interval scale of measurement.
