In the activity 4 qn no 6 i am not able to understand the ans of whether it is a manipulated y axis or not.So please explain manipulated y axis and misleading graph with respect to this qn

Hi,

Manipulated Y-axis means the unnecessary extention of the scales on Y-axis. For example, if you have macimum data value as 100 but still you are extending your Y-axis upto 200 then it is considered as manipulated Y-axis.

In the above figure, breaks (two slant lines) are introduced in the graph and hence it is not a misleading graph.
