Why is Temperature in Centigrade not a Ratio scale of measurement , when Temperature in Kelvins is a Ratio scale?  Please explain.

I think the reason is:
One can not say 40 C is twice as hot as 20 C. Something that can be said about Kelvin measurement. So Temperature in Centigrade(and Farenheit)  is are interval.

When we measure the temperature in centigrade and Frarenhit There is no absolute zero. Sometimes zero is appearing in those variables but it does not make any sense.
we can also measure below 0 in those variables . for example -5 degrees or something like that. So that absolute zero doesn't exist. therefore we can't measure the ratio scale.
When we move to Kelvin there is an absolute zero. we can use the ratio scale here.
