doubt regarding GRADED ASSIGNMENT (WEEK 1)

Sir,
Could you please why average rating is a continuous variable? As there seems to be no value between say for example 4.5 and 4.6 (the data does not have 4.55). So isn't the avg rating discrete as it can have values with one decimal only(between 1-5) nothing in between them as in the above example.

The average rating can be any positive real number, and essentially dense.  So, it's continuous.

In fact, the same argument for the other variables too.

Continuous variable : A continuous variable is a variable that takes any value betweentwo specific data values.For example, the weight measured in kg can take any value between 2 kg and 3 kg.That is, the weight can take values as 2.1 kg or 2.223 kg or 2.1234 etc.

So, here average rating can take any value between 4.5 to 4.6 e.g. 4.511, 4.512 etc. when we increase the customer views in table.
Hence average rating is a continuous variable.
