I am a having a doubt in question no 3 of activity question 5 you see the question is asking the 50th percentile so here we have p = 0.5 and n = 11 if we solve by this i get the answer 5.5 ie 6 value in the given data ie 26 but it is showing the answer 33 so kindly please help me where i am doing mistake or the given answer of the question is wrong

Hello Madhur,

You are going right Madhur. You have said we have to consider 6th value. But are you considering the 6th value?

Alternative

You have to find the 50th percentile from the given stem and leaf plot. So, what is 50th percentile? Do we know any specific name for that? Is there any other way to find the 50th percentile?
