Going to table

Cancer                               150          t
Accidents                            x        0.175
Heart Disease                    y             z
Respiratory Disease       250          0.25
others                               300           0.3

Ok.. when looking into others we have given that there relative frequency is 0.3
ie, (300/total)=0.3
So for finding total , 300/0.3 = 1000

so total is 1000. then when looking to x( deaths by accident) = 0.175 x 1000 = 175

So we have gotten total no. of deaths, x value... then y= 1000-(150+175+250+300)
                                                                                              y=1000-875= 125

Hope this Clear ..!!
faithfully
SUHANA

ALSO TOTAL RELATIVE FREQUENCY IS ALWAYS ONE, JUST WANTED TO CONFIRM... GUIDE ME IF I AM WRONG...

I have got answer in this way and it was 0.125
Solution -
Z = 1 - (0.15+0.175+0.25+0.3) = 0.125
