at 5.11(timestamp of the tutorial2 week 4 video) at 4.40 aren't the signs the other way around. coz it Xi--Xmean so 293-301.125 would give -8.125..... not that the negative sign matters here but should it variable-mean or mean -variable.

Since you are going to square them up, hence negative signs will not make any difference there. But it should be x(i)-mean.
