Statistics Text Book and Practice Questions

Respected Ma'am,

I have managed to get a copy of the Third Edition of the TextBook Introductory Statistics - by Sheldon M. Ross.

Request if you could please organise to clarify following queries:

1.  Will the 3rd Edition be good enough for the purpose of the course or should I procure only the 4th Edition?

2.  For the benefit of all students, is it possible to please also specify, in the Transcripts of each On-line lesson, what particular topics and Problems in the book we should study and practice to get a better understanding of the Lesson, please?

3.  Does IIT-M plan to take up with Pearson India to bring out a Low Priced Edition (LPE) of the other 'suggested' textbook, please?

With more than 20k new enrolments to the IIT-M BSc-Data Science course every term, this should be a good captive market for the LPE of the text book and help us Indian Students a lot, please? The original editions cost upwards of Rs. 5,000/-.
