What kind of variables are comparative forms of adverbs (like more, less; good, better and best etc.)?
 
 



How "Gender" ,Blood Groups (Categorical variable) can be of comparative forms ?

Even I have the same doubt as mentioned by harishe.c..@gmail.com . I have even attached the screenshot. 

Numerical data is comparable for instance we can compare 'batting average' of a player and classify who's is more or less. Can you please clear this query. 

The doubt is based on Q. No. 2, Activity 1.3, Week 1. Screenshot of the question attached.

Here, we are talking about comparative forms of adverbs like good, better, and best.
how these data are supposed to have numeric properties? You can't find addition or subtraction of these values but there is order between these values, hence it comes under ordinal scale if measurement.

Okay so the question asked is what classification do adverbs like "good", " Better", "best" take? is my interpretation right?
