S.No. Doubt

Sir if table contains cricket data and questions says type the number of categorical variables from collected data then my doubt is should I count S.No also among Cricketer & Jersey or just ignore S. No

Question says to type number of categorical variables so what should I answer 3( counting S.No) or 2 ( ignoring S.No) 

S.No   Cricketer   Jersey   Bowling Avg.

1           Morris         21              21.37

2           Saini            13              24.86

3           Siraj             10              22.76

As per the options in the questions, 

if you have option as 3, you can choose that otherwise choose 2 (ignoring S.No.)
