Since the no.of of observations are 10, the median can be either customer 5 or customer 6. Therefore the answer can be either option 'good' or option 'average'. But why is only option 'average' being regarded as the correct answer?

First you have to sort the data in ascending order. When you will arrange them in ascending order then both 5th and 6th observations will be average.
