Question Number 3

What is the issue if I want to use Pareto Chart in place of Pie Chart? Statistics is different from other branches of Mathematics. You can not have just 1 right answer to each and every question

Question Number 7

Point Number 1:  There is no manipulation in Y-axis about 50.

Point Number 2:  If baseline is missing then it means that Y-axis has been manipulated. So, why must I choose all other options as provided in the correct answers? Can you give me an example where baseline is missing but Y-axis has not been manipulated?
I understood the concept and got zero marks. Such type of questions and options should be avoided that have the potential for arguments.

Question Number 9

It was clearly mentioned that answer should be up to 4 decimal places. There was no mention of rounding off the answer to 4 decimal places. I gave the correct answer and got zero marks.

Hello Pankaj,

For manipulation of y-axis, you can refer to week 2 FAQ.
Regarding Q. no. 9, as the range was not provided, we are assigning marks to everybody.

Thanks

In reference to question number 7 and your subsequent reply to refer it to week 2 FAQ.

In FAQ it is explained that
1. "Expanding or compressing the scale on a graph" causes manipulation of y-axis.
2. "Missing of the baseline" is a case truncated graph.
As per my understanding both case (i.e. point 1 & 2) leads to misleading of the graph but both are different cause. So in my view the correct answer to question no. 7 where a truncated graph is shown must be "MISSNG BASELINE" i.e. option (a) only.

If you refer to question no. 5 of AQ2.4 (Non Graded Assignment week2), this  question is exactly similar to question 7 of graded assignment with same options. There also the correct answer is given as " MISSING BASEINE" only. The same concept is explained in video lectures as well.

Hello,

The only difference is that in graded assignment question we having expanded y-axis too, therefore manipulated y-axis along with the missing baseline. But in question 5 of AQ2.4 there is no manipulated y-axis.
