Hello Aslam,

In  this question, we have to calculate the correlation coefficient. For that, we need to find the standard deviation and covariance. So, even if you solve using sample standard deviation and sample covariance, you will get the same answer

as you will get while using  the population. Also, refer to the lecture 4.7.
