Statistics Week 3 - Provide clarification to all Aspiring Students

Hello Team

The topic introduced in the Box Plot Tutorial and the formula introduced in the Tutorial 5 is not taught by the Professor.

Also the Outliers formula required to solve the last question Stats Week3 graded assignment is not covered in Video Lectures. Some document is yet pending to be released it seems.

Is the syllabus for the Qualifier Exam is to include these topics that are not covered in the Video Lectures by the Professor?

There is a lot of confusion amongst the students as most of us barely manage time to watch/listen to the Videos of Professor or read their lecture transcripts.

Please provide detailed clarification regarding these gaps in Video Lectures of Professor and the Tutorial to all aspiring students of the Qualifier Exam.

All students are not on the same page regarding this.

Please clarify at the earliest as we have started solving Week 3 Graded Assignments.

As far as the qualifier exam is concerned, we are not going to ask anything outside of what ma'am has taught in the lectures. We will release the tutorial video for the outlier formula soon.

Then should we consider Tutorial 5 and Box Plot Tutorial and questions related to them in week 2 graded assignment to be out of syllabus ?

Hi Pragati,

Except the tutorials on google sheet, consider every other tutorial as a part of your syllabus. The questions will be asked in the qualifier exam.

So, please don't consider Box plot tutorial to be out of the syllabus. Sorry for providing incomplete information previously.
