Discrete Data
It doesn’t take all the values within given interval. That is they are discrete.
They (possible data points) are either finite or countably infinite.
You can not measure the data, you only count the data.
Examples: Days in a week, number of students
Continuous Data
It takes all the values within given interval.
They are uncountable.
We can measure the data.
Examples: Heights, volume
