What is the difference between the string and integer in datatype. What will gmail , phone number will be classified as.

Dear Mam, 

Suppose there is a question of dataset 

In which it is interval scale of measurement 

Then it will be numerical variable 

But my question is that even though we have interval scale but it is categories  into good better and best and  in it several common difference in there so it is INTERVAL scale and it is  also categorical variable 

But as mentioned in vedieos that interval scale comes under numerical variable 

Here I m  confused mam

Hello,

When data can take values of good, better, and best then how can we say they have common difference. It has an ordinal scale and comes under categorical variable.
