What kind of variable is lattitude?

(a)Numerical
(b)Categorical
(c)Continuos
(d)Discrete

Please explain how lattitude is continuous and not discrete.

Also, what is the difference between continuous variable and discrete variable?

It is numerical and continuous .The difference between  continuous variable and discrete variable is :
continuous variable - data is countable
discrete data - data is measurable (in terms of units like kg,cm,litre, newton, etc.)
Here it is continuous because the latitude can be measured in degree.

Hope this helps.

If it is measurable then it should be discrete..isn't?

it can take decimal values. so it is continuous.

Latitude takes decimal values.
Discrete variables should be counted without decimal values.
