Hi,
I have concerns over question 10 in the week 1 graded assignment of Statistics. The question asks to mark every continuous variable in the dataset. I think the average rating should not be considered as a continuous variable because the number of reviews is specified and hence the value of this variable can only take certain numbers. This variable is not dense the way a continuous variable should be. From another point of view, the average rating in the given table was rounded to the nearest tenths (the ratings were only written to one decimal point) which made it even more clear that it's a discrete variable. The average rating will be a continuous variable if  there are infinite reviews or the number of reviews is unknown like in question number 5 of the same assignment. Kindly look into it.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Agreed. I think you are spot on. Average Rating, even if it were computed as taking simple averages of rating, would only take fixed values.

Apart from that, there as such is no variable named "Average Rating" available in the dataset and should probably not even be considered.
