Doubt in Solution Offered for Q8 and 9 in Week 2 Maths Graded Assignment

Dear Instructors,

I have a doubt in the solution offered for Q8 and 9 in Week 2 Maths Graded Assignment.

Q8) The first sun-ray not blocked by B has a slope of -2 (Enter an integer value)?

As per Q the shadow of building B of height 30 m will be till 15 m horizontally from building B in +ve X axis direction.
So a person at 15 m from building will be in its shadow.

As per question the person to be under sun, he/she should be more than 15 m away from building B i.e. person should be at-least 15.1 m away from building.
Since the question ask for the integer value the distance is 16 for a person to experience first sun-ray from building B.

Q9) The first sun-ray not blocked by A is also the first sun-ray not blocked by B.
(Answer should be till two decimal places, use zero before the decimal if value is less than one)

Similarly the sun-ray blocked by both building A and B is till 37.5 m from building B.
So to experience the first sun-ray the person need to be 37.5 m away from building B.
Since the question ask for the decimal value till 2 places the distance is 37.51 for a person to experience first sun-ray from building B.

(Please Note : I assumed the person to be a point object without height)

Please point out correction/mistakes I have made.

Dear learner,
Considering the person to be point object as you considered in this problem. 

In the questions it clearly says "How much minimum distance in meters will she have to walk in the right direction of building" so in Q8, 15m will be the least minimum distance after that the women will receive sunshine and same thing goes with Q9 where the least minimum distance is 37.5m.

Note: 15.0000001 (can take any value)≈ 15m not 16m and similarly 37.5000001≈ 37.5m if we consider person as point which is dimensionless. So it is safe to take the exact critical value as the answer. Hope you get it now.
