in most of the SSE error question we put all the right side vairables to left an then find value respectively like in my first pc i have attached it can be seen, vt is taken on left side,
then why in week4 graded assignment question,when we find pv=rt we put p-1/2t ,why didnt we resolve to 2p-t ,becuae second ne would have given us different solution other than p-1/2t, then why didnt we take 2p-t and why p-1/2t,please see second image attached and explain?

Good question.
It's because P is a function of T. If you look at the question, it's mentioned P(T). Read this as P is a function of T.
