Dear Team,
Can you please explain or provide a hint on the way to proceed with this particular problem (stone-throwing)? I mean I tried to proceed by finding the vertex point whose y-coordinate is given as 5. Is this the correct way to approach the problem or do we need to find the slope of the function? Kindly assist.

Hi Shayan,
First try to find the x-coord of the vertex. That gives you time to reach max. height. Now put that in the height formula given. From there you can calculate u.
