Week 2 - Tutorial 7 and 8 in particular.

I am still unsure how they stretched line around 90degree when question asked 360 degree

*Not clear with conclusion part*

Specially when it's being tried to told with angle and like m3 is less than m5

However from last tutorial I somewhat understood this - 

If Ca is greater than Cb of y=mx +c 

And angle b is greater than angle a where both are acute angle because less than 90 degree 

And a is lesser than b because a is lesser towards x axis compared to be and hence angle b is greater than angle a

So since tan values keep increasing for lesser angle to greater upto 90 degree.. Hence slope is also like m of b is greater than m of a

Looking forward for some clarity on this, not excluding my question from lectures where I had doubt regarding that easily playing with angles or Similarity for formula derivation..

Hi Brajesh,

In question 7 we have to rotate the line segment OP around X-axis 360 degree.

So here OP starts and ends at the same place.

The image which is created in video is 2D representation of the cone.

That's why the mirror image is taken and it comes in fourth quadrant.

It is same if you put a torch on a cone you will get the same image.
