Find the roots of the equation: x2−8x+15=0x2−8x+15=0
 Two real roots 3, 5
 Two real roots 4, 15
 One real root -1
 One real root 3

That was a pretty broad hint, and those who've not been doing math for some time might find it a little intimidating!

So Ruchi, here's what you typically do.

We factorize the equation given as (x - 5) * (x - 3) [To be fair to you, this method wasn't covered in the course; and, to be fair to the course tutors, this method was already taught in algebra classes in high school:)]

From the above equation, it's clear that the roots are 5 and 3.
