Functions problems

Team,

Please help me understand this functions problem. I understood onto and one to one functions. But facing issue to make domain and codomain elements. Plz help me on this. I spent lot of time on this.

 

Please explain for each option - how to define the domain and CO domain. If you are ok, I can call you also. You can explain me over phone as well.

consider the mock questions  as an example:

option 1

The first line says that the function "f" has a domain of "R" (the real numbers), and a codomain of "N" also.
