Sir,

I could not understand why in question 8, the second slope was taken from S to the feet of thief T2. shouldn't it be from S to the head of thief T2?

Because if the torch was projected to the feet of thief T2, then Sanya would not be able to see the thief.

Similarly, shouldn't be the slope from S be projected from S to the feet of thief T1 so that Sanya can see the thief T1?

Please clarify where I have gone wrong.
