Hi, In tutorial 3 of week 4 f(2) =f(4) and f(1)= f(5). Can you please explain it how?

If you put the value in that particular equation, you can see
f(2)= 2 square - 6.2 + 8 =0
same is for f(4).
f(1)= f(5) = 3
Though in solution, vertex , f(1) and f(3) are computed but to solve the problem , roots are sufficient .( 2 and 4).
