Week 1 FAQ-2  qst-6 _In there, explanation to the option D isn't more acceptable. Anyone have think this can be possible ???
Where we are working with R (Set of real numbers ), how do we put all R num in the function  to get that two distinct values.

Coming to the question, the explanation is right.  

Consider y = 0.  In this example, y can be 0, in two ways.  Either 5x + 4 is 0 or 2x - 3 is 0.  In the first case, x = -4/5.  In the second, x = 3/2.  Thus, for two x-values, y has the same value 0.  This isn't possible with injective functions.
