Sir,
Could you please explain how the last option for this problem is correct. Since, in this question I can clearly see that the y-coordinate value is 10 which makes the line HE intersect the inner square at (-40,10).
The slope of HE is 1 and its equation is y=x+50, so putting y=10 (since as per the diagram the inner square is 10 unit away from side AD) we get x=-40.
Please explain the reason for the answer given for this question or reconsider the answers.
